Into Film's Young Reporters Programme

I am very pleased to announce that I have been accepted as an Into Film Young Reporter for the next two years! The scheme involves representing Into Film at film premieres, press junkets, festivals, press conferences and red carpets to interview talent as a member of the press, as well as writing reviews and voicing my passion for film on their online platform. This will be an excellent opportunity for me to share and express for film, and to gain more of an insight to the film industry, and I am extremely excited to be a part of the scheme. My first assignment will be in two weeks, where I will be attending a screening for the movie 'Ferdinand', which will follow with an interview with the director, Carlos Saldanha, the next day.

Channel 4's Random Acts

A few weeks ago, after a rigorous application and interview process, I was extremely grateful to have received a commission from Screen South as part of Channel 4's Random Acts, for my script 'Broken Dancer'. Since then I have attended the training and development days, which gave me the opportunity to explore my idea further with the help of other filmmakers and the execs, and I was given a lot of useful training and advice from guest speakers. The next stage will be to finalise the schedules, budgets, script and storyboard, and I will be doing all this with the help of my production partner 'Resource Productions'. We hope to start shooting in late January/early February, and I am very excited to see how everything will turn out!
